Looking to improve your photographic skills and capture Fairfield from its best angles?
You’ll have the opportunity later this month by heading along on a photography tour with professional photographer Markus Andersen.
For over a year, Sydney-based photographer Andersen photographed Cabramatta. Locals may recognise his work from having held a recent exhibition at Fairfield Museum and Gallery, which has now moved to the Australian Centre For Photography in Darlinghurst.
Mr Anderson has also published a book called, Cabramatta: A Moment In Time, which is highly worth seeing for anyone with an interest in the local area.
Everyone’s invited to join Anderson to explore the beauty and energy of Cabramatta on a special street, documentary and food photographic tour during Lunar New Year celebrations on Sunday 12 February 2017.
Participants will get the opportunity to explore the use of light, colour and composition to construct a visual documentation of the suburb.
No previous experience is needed. All you need to do is bring along your DSLR, mirrorless, rangefinder or mobile device to capture all the fantastic images.
You’ll also be able to ring in the Year of the Rooster and indulge in all of the local culinary delights with Andersen on this four-hour tour.
