Mother’s Day ClassicMother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run held in various locations around Australia to help raise funds for research into breast cancer prevention and treatment.

Since its inception in 1998, the Mother’s Day Classic has helped raise $19.8 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), making it the largest fundraising event for breast cancer research in Australia.

Mothers Day Classic is for everyone – being that it is on Mother’s Day, mums are strongly encouraged to come along, as are dads, and the rest of the family too.

You can run the event and try to beat a fitness goal, or you can take it easy and just enjoy a leisurely stroll.

The fun run takes place all over the country, with the main event in Sydney taking place at The Domain from 6am on Sunday 11th May.

Professionals Fairfield Real Estate is a diamond partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and it is a cause that we feel extremely passionate about. Our office donates a portion of every sale to the NBCF and as a group, Professionals have helped raise more than $2,263, 997, and this number grows daily.

Our office strongly encourages everyone in the Fairfield community to join in on the event and to have a great day out with their friends and loved ones.

So why not help make this Mother’s Day memorable by registering and fundraising to help fight the battle against breast cancer?

Celebrating Fairfield’s Mums!

It’s almost Mother’s Day so that means it’s time to start thinking about what we can all do to help celebrate our amazing mothers this Sunday.

Flowers are a popular gift for a lot of Fairfield’s mothers but many locals also choose to take their mum out for the day.

There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes that you may like to take your mum to in Fairfield or their will also be a special Mother’s Day event at the Fairfield Town Centre this Friday, where there will be a piano accordionist who will serenade the mothers on the day and give them all a single flower.

If your mother would prefer an event that is a little more active though, then the Mother’s Day Classic is another great way to spend Mother’s Day.

The Mother’s Day Classic takes place at the Sydney Domain and individuals or teams of people can walk or run to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. With the Professionals Real Estate Group being Diamond Partners with the National Breast Cancer Foundation we feel particularly passionate about this event and you are bound to see plenty of ‘Pros’ taking part in the Mother’s Day Classic events that will be taking place around the country.

Whichever way you choose to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday though, I hope you all have a very special day with your mum and show her how much you appreciate all of the great things she has done for you.

Happy Mother’s Day Fairfield!
