Looking for ways to save money around the home? If you answered “yes” you might be interested in heading to a free workshop were you will be taught different ways to save water around the home.
The workshop is being held at the Nalawala Community Hall in Prairewood to help celebrate World Environment Day. This is a day that encourages everyone to look at how their actions affect our planet, and this includes daily habits that we all have around the home and that affect our hip pocket and our local areas.
It is easy to fall into bad habits that aren’t good for the environment or our household budget. Water costs can add up quickly so it’s well worth taking small steps to save some money and do the right thing.
The workshop is being presented by the Fairfield City Council and will look at small changes that can be made to cut back on water use.
It will take place next Saturday, June 17, from 9am – 12pm.
