Celebrating Fairfield’s communities

Celebrate two of Fairfield’s largest communities at upcoming events at the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery.

The events will be linked to the current exhibition at the museum, A Home Away From Home: Exploring Fairfield City’s Multicultural Clubs, and will recognise the contribution that Italian and Assyrian communities have made in the local community.

Visitors to the events will be able to enjoy live traditional music, performances and talks.

The first of the two events will be the Italian event and it’s being held tomorrow, 29 April. It will include wood-fired pizza and pasta.

The Assyrian event will be held on 20 May and will have cooking demonstrations and traditional sweets.
