A night at the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery

Fairfield City Museum and Gallery is hosting a special twilight art event this Saturday night.

One Night at the Museum is a free and family-friendly art event where visitors will get the chance to engage with contemporary art at twilight.

Inspired by the theme ‘Art Without Borders’, the event will explore culture, tradition and modern themes through interactive art installations, video projections, poetry readings and artists talks, as well as a performance by well-known local artist Linda Brescia.

Wood fire pizza, refreshments, giant games and children’s activities will all be included in this free event.

Artists featuring in the event will include Bic Tieu, Loribelle Spirovski, William Seeto, Marian Abboud, Linda Brescia, Bilal Hafda, Adnan Begic, Katie Green, Undrawing the Line (Mona Maradveisi, Safdar Ahmed, Zanny Begg and Murtaza Ali Jafari).

There will also be a feature a five part web series ‘Kasey is Missing’ and ‘Anaconda’ produced by ICE, with a selection of videos from Colourfest produced by Gary Paramanathan.

Don’t miss out in this unique event. It will take place on Saturday 27 August, from 5.30 – 8pm at the Fairfield City Museum and Gallery in Smithfield.
